Okay – now you're ready and feel like TikTok is something your business should invest in. But how do you start, and what are the first steps? You don't have to think about that for long—because we give you the answers. Here are 5 easy steps on how to get started with TikTok!
Set up your account
To start using TikTok as part of your marketing, you must start by setting up an account and the first step is to download the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play. Once you've done that, it's time to go under Profile and create your business account. Remember to choose the Business Account, so you can take advantage of TikTok's Analytics tools. Now you are part of the platform!
Time to make content
Yes, now you have taken a step to become a part of TikTok. But now you have to start producing content. How lucky that it is both simple and fun! There are now two different ways of working. The first is to film directly from the app, where you have the opportunity to use various filters and effects. You can also decide to record video in your camera and edit it in an external program—then upload it to the app. Don't forget to add hashtags to increase the spread of your video.
Be smart and schedule
Surely, it is difficult to always remember to upload posts and set aside time for it every day? Start scheduling your content instead! You save both time and work more efficiently.
